Welcome to the LTWC Family!
We are delighted to welcome you as a part of our church family. The collective prayer of the leadership team is that your faith journey will be one filled with joy. We would like to share with you how LTWC will walk with you in your journey to become a more “victorious disciple of Christ.” It begins with our vision and an intentional effort to grow in the areas of “loving God, loving others and serving."
Love God. Love Others. Serve.
At Living The Word Church there is a simple pathway to the journey of becoming a victorious disciple; participate in discipleship like Community Groups, Bible Study and Monday night prayer (love God), engage with your brothers and sisters in Christ in Tribes and at events / activities (love others), and commit your gifting to the Kingdom of God through ministry volunteerism (serve).
Step 1 - Get Informed
Sign up here for the church electronic communication to stay abreast of new happenings, all of our events, special announcements and important messages from Pastor Hawkins. NOTE: If we will not have church on Sunday for any reason (usually weather), this is how we will let you know so be sure to sign up.
If you’re on Facebook, join our group for those in LTWC community called “LTWC Connect.” You’ll get messages from Pastor, hear first about events and interact with other members!
Step 2 - Start Serving
Complete your Spiritual Gifts Discovery online. After your discovery is complete, you'll hear from a ministry leader regarding how you can serve the Kingdom of God. It is expected that everyone is serving within 90 days of joining LTWC. If you'd like to learn more about a particular ministry, call the church at 618-398-1808 and let us know which ministry leader you'd like to give you a call. We can't wait to serve alongside you!
Step 3 - Connect With Community
There are awesome ways to meet new people at our church like Small Group Bible study and Tribes (members who gather by zip code throughout the year), King's and Queen's Institute (year long men's and women's discipleship class) events and activities like Summer Surge and Fall Fest and friends you'll make serving in ministry. Be willing to participate, introduce yourself, shake off shyness and watch God connect you to great people!
Step 4 - Be Faithful
Keep attending weekly worship! It's so important to build your faith through corporate worship and encouragement. We know so many distractions can keep us from attending church. God has planted you at LTWC, so don't uproot yourself. Your presence is a blessing to others and we know you'll be blessed in your faithfulness to God's house. If you’re sick or out of town, you can still join us LIVE online for the 9:15am service!
